This Sapa Easy Trekking ( 3 Days – 4 Nights ) is an extended tour in the most fabulous region in Sapa, Vietnam. With this tour, you can immerse yourself among the delightful mountains and Muong Hoa valley. Besides, you have an opportunity to meet ethnic minorities in Sapa and enjoy the memorable culture in here.
Night 1 : Pick up from Hanoi old quarter to Hanoi railway station
Depart from Hanoi
The tour begins between 08:00 – 08:30 PM with a bus or taxi transfer to the railway station in Hanoi where you will catch the night train to Lao Cai.
Accommodation: Overnight on train to Sapa with Deluxe Sleeping 4 bed per cabin train.
Day 1 ( night 2 ): Sapa – Cat Cat village ( B,L,D )
Activities: Have breakfast in Sapa Town, speak to locals at Cat Cat Village, admire a waterfall and head back to Sapa Town.
Accommodation: The hotel in Sapa with Superior room at Sapa Panorama/Vista/Unique hotel
You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 05:00 – 07:30 AM. There you will meet the Sapa bus guide and transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H’Mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat.
After the walk, you will be back to the Sapa Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11:00 AM – 02:00 PM) in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own. Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 04:00 – 08:00 PM. You will spend the night in the Sapa Hotel.
Day 2 ( night 3 ): Sapa – Lao Chai/Ta Van – Sapa ( B,L,D )
Activities: Have breakfast in Sapa Hotel, speak to locals at Lao Chai Village, experience the culture in Ta Van village and head back to Sapa Town.
Accommodation: The hotel in Sapa with Suprerior room at Sapa Panorama/Vista/Unique hotel
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 06:30-09:00 AM. After breakfast and to Muong Hoa prepare for your trek. At around 09:00 AM, you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Valley towards the Black H’Mong village of Lao Chai.
The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia. After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life. At around 02:00 PM you back to hotel, and have dinner at your hotel.
Day 4 ( night 4 ): Sapa – Ham Rong – Lao Cai station – Hanoi ( B,L,D )
Activities: Have breakfast in Sapa hotel, trek to Ham Rong mountain before returning to Hanoi by train
Accommodation: Overnight on train to Hanoi
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 06:30 – 09:00 AM. After breakfast you will check out and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. At around 09:00 AM you will begin Ham Rong, Ham Rong Mountain is located at the heart of Sapa Town. The mountain is home to some stunning orchid gardens and “rock gardens” Ham Rong.
Mountain has the best view of Sapa which is available anywhere and provides a beautiful view of the nature surrounding the town including Fansipan Mountain.
To travel to Ham Rong Mountain, you follow the road behind the church in the center of Sapa Town to the end and take a left turn to begin hiking up the slope leading to Ham Rong Mountain. A tour to Ham Rong Mountain will not be complete without witnessing the beautifully manicured orchid gardens, the natural rock gardens, the panoramic view of Sapa from the top of Ham Rong and the performance of traditional ethnic music by the local boys and girls.
Having lunch at your hotel. Ater lunch, you have free time in the afternoon and go shopping around there. Then, you go back to your hotel to take a shower.
Between 05:00 – 05:30 PM, the mini bus will pick you up to Lao Cai station. You can eat dinner at the Lao Cai station. After that, get on night train back to Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi between 05:00 – 06:30 AM at the Tran Quy Cap train station.
