Shuttle Service

• Distance: Lao Cai Railway Station ↔ Sapa Town — approximately 33 km

• Travel time: 50 minutes by private car or 60 minutes by shared minivan

• Transfer options: Shuttle bus – USD 3 per person / per way | Private car (4 – 16 seats) on request
  👉 For return trips, pick-up is available at hotels in Sapa town center between 09:30 – 10:00 AM.

4️⃣ Policies

👨‍👩‍👧 Child Policy

• Children under 6 years old: Free of charge when sharing a bed with an adult (1 child per adult).

• Children from 6 years old and above: Charged the same as adults.

• Single passenger requesting a private VIP 2-berth cabin: Must purchase the entire cabin.

📋 Cancellation & Amendment Policy

For Individual Bookings (up to 3 cabins – 1 to 12 tickets):

• Free cancellation or amendment 15 days or more before departure.

• Cancellation within 15 days before departure: 50% charge.

• Cancellation within 5 days before departure: 100% charge (non-refundable).

For Group Bookings (from 3 cabins or more – VIP = 6 tickets / Deluxe = 12 tickets):

• Free cancellation or amendment 30 days or more before departure.

• Cancellation within 30 days: 20% charge (or after deposit payment).

• Cancellation within 15 days: 50% charge.

• Cancellation within 5 days: 100% charge (non-refundable).

All ticket prices include basic passenger insurance as regulated by Vietnam Railways.
Viet Express Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for better protection in the following cases:

• Trip cancellation or delay

• Lost or damaged luggage / documents

• Medical expenses due to illness or accident

• Unforeseen circumstances beyond control

Family Express Train and Viet Express Travel are not responsible for any loss, damage, or expenses if passengers do not purchase additional travel insurance.
