🚆CABIN TYPE

• Cabin Sizes:
  Both 2-berth and 4-berth cabins have beds that are about 1.85m long and 70cm wide, comfortable for most travelers.

• Train Structure:
  The train has 2 fixed carriages designed for King Express passengers.

• VIP King-Size Cabin:
  Each VIP cabin has one large bed and there is only 1 VIP cabin in each carriage.
  The train also has 12 standard 4-berth cabins (48 beds in total), and the upper beds can be folded to create more space.

🚐 Shuttle Service

Distance: Lao Cai Railway Station ↔ Sapa Town – 33 km
Travel time: 50 minutes by private car or 60 minutes by shared minivan

Transfer Options:

• Shuttle Bus: USD 3 / person / way

• Private Car (4–16 seats): available upon request

👉 If you book the transfer service together with your train ticket:

• Upon arrival at Lao Cai Station, the driver will wait at the station gate holding a sign with your name for easy identification.

• For the return trip:

If taking SP8 (12:05 PM): pick-up at hotel between 09:30 – 10:00 AM

At Hanoi and Lao Cai Stations

We will provide either a voucher or an electronic boarding pass.

You can board the train directly, or our operation team can meet you at the station to guide you to the correct platform and cabin.

Upon arrival, please arrive at least 60 minutes before departure and present your train voucher to exchange for a hard ticket.
Our staff will assist with check-in, and boarding guidance.

📜 POLICIES

📋 Ticket Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Individual Tickets (1–9 tickets)

Ticket Issuance: Please request your ticket or voucher at least 20 days before departure.

Cancellation or Postponement Fees:

• 10% fee: Immediately after Party A confirms the ticket issuance request via email or fax.
• 20% fee: 10–12 days before departure.
• 30% fee: 8–10 days before departure.
• 50% fee: 3–5 days before departure.
• Other cancellation or postponement types: 100% of ticket value.

If  Sapa King Express Train sells tickets on behalf of customer, a minimum 10% service fee applies.

2. Group Tickets (10 tickets or more)

Ticket Issuance: Please request your ticket or voucher at least 30 days before departure.

Cancellation or Postponement Fees:

• 10% fee: Immediately after Party A confirms the ticket issuance request via email or fax.
• 20% fee: 25 days before departure.
• 30% fee: 15 days before departure.
• 50% fee: 10 days before departure.
• Other cancellation or postponement types: 100% of ticket value.

Holidays & Tet: All tickets must be issued at least 30 days before departure.

Special Cases: For bookings made months or years in advance, any adjustment, cancellation, or postponement after ticket issuance will incur a minimum 20% fee.

Force Majeure: In cases such as natural disasters, floods, epidemics, war, strikes, or other unavoidable events, Sapa King Express Train will refund up to 90% of fees.

3. Included in the Ticket Price:

• VAT invoice

• Service fees

• Passenger insurance as required by railway regulations

• Any additional services listed in the contract appendix

🛡️ Insurance Policy

• All train ticket prices include basic passenger insurance as regulated by Vietnam Railways.
  This basic insurance covers standard passenger liability while traveling onboard.
• Viet Express Travel strongly recommends all passengers to purchase additional comprehensive travel insurance for full protection during the trip.
  A travel insurance policy should cover:
• Trip cancellation or schedule changes
• Loss or damage of luggage and personal belongings
• Loss of money or important travel documents
• Medical expenses in case of illness or accidents.

Please note that Sapa King Express Train and Viet Express Travel are not responsible for any loss, damage, or medical expenses if the passenger chooses not to purchase additional travel insurance.
