Walking among the “paradise” of roses

Summer is rose season in Sa Pa. In particular, a “paradise” of roses is blooming brightly on the route from Nguyen Chi Thanh leading to the Fansipan cable car station.

Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area has planted 10km of climbing roses and woven them into dozens of giant rose hearts. It is expected that at the end of April, the whole road will be dyed red with climbing roses, creating a beautiful scene like a fairy garden. Right at the Fansipan cable car station is a 50,000 square meter rose valley. This place gathers about 300,000 roses, of 150 rose varieties: from climbing roses, ancient Sa Pa roses to imported roses.

To increase the experience and introduce the rose “specialty” of Sa Pa to more tourists, from April 27 – May 30, Sa Pa Town People’s Committee coordinated with Sun World Fansipan Legend to organize a flower festival. pink on a large scale.

From April 27 to May 7, at Sun World Fansipan Legend, every day in two time frames, 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., there are attractive fashion and art performances, respectively. Here, typical activities take place such as: fashion shows with roses combined with flower spreading dances on the stage and around the cable car station; performing arts with Northwest cultural influences; re-enacting the Red Dao wedding in Rose Valley…

Throughout the streets of Sa Pa town, during 3 days April 27 – 29, the “dreamy Sa Pa” street parade will take place with the participation of: 750 actors in traditional costumes; 34 cars decorated with roses from the Sun World Fansipan Legend flower valley. The event promises to bring visitors unforgettable experiences on their journey to enjoy Sa Pa summer.

Check-in amidst the hillside of bright yellow mustard flowers

Mustard flowers and terraced fields – the typical beauties of the Northwest are now merged into one, creating an artistic scene at the Fansipan cable car station. Covering the 10-hectare hill are yellow mustard flowers. Visitors can transform into a Northwest boy or girl, saving interesting images.

Explore the cultural space of ethnic groups in Sa Pa

With the desire to contribute to preserving the characteristics of ethnic groups and connecting highland culture to many tourists, Sun World Fansipan Legend has created a Northwest Cultural Space right within the Fansipan cable car station area.

The Northwest cultural space brings together 5 houses of the H’Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, and Xa Pho people. Sun World Fansipan Legend representative said that these are all ancient houses brought from villages in Sa Pa. In 5 houses are 5 cultural spaces. Artisans gather here to introduce to visitors the culinary quintessence, handicraft products, and the most typical songs and dances of their people.

In addition, on weekdays, special cultural performances also take place here. Visitors have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from many highland ethnic groups, sing and dance together, enjoy a true Northwest space…

Walk on the path to see azalea flowers

Hoang Lien Son is known as the “land of azalea flowers”, because it possesses up to 40 species of azalea flowers, blooming most brilliantly in April and May. Azalea in Hoang Lien Son is usually concentrated at high temperatures. From 2,000m high, visitors can easily see flowers from the cable car cabin.

Before the April 30 holiday, Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area will inaugurate a walking route to view azalea flowers at Kim Son Bao Thang Tu. Located at an altitude of about 3,100m, stretching 10m, along ancient rhododendron roots, the road is made of wooden materials in harmony with the natural landscape. In particular, each step of the azalea road is meticulously constructed to ensure the original state of the area with rare azalea trees.

Walking on the road, visitors have the opportunity to walk through the trees, admire the precious flowers of the Northwest mountains and forests, and take in the view of closely growing carpets of azalea flowers, from yellow, purple, pink to red. Resplendent like weaving brocade and embroidered flowers on the majestic Hoang Lien mountains and forests.
