Dream Express Train is a reliable train service on the route from Hanoi to Sapa. It is one of the newest trains that offers exceptional services at a reasonable price. Amenities

Dream Express Train has just been launched in early 2017 for the new style tourist to Sapa. It is special designed to offer comfortable soft sleepers, fully equipped for those who desire to have dream journey to Sapa. While this is not a luxurious train, it offers good alternative transportation in only 1 carriage which go with local trains between Hanoi and Lao Cai. Each cabin is comfortable Deluxe 4 soft berths and convenience amenities, and can be flexible set up private VIP 2-berth-cabin upon request. A Private VIP 2 berths cabins are available for couple or business, more satisfied with intimate space, remarkable interior decor and the extra item like Vietnamese tea, soda and snacks. 

Not standing the high rank as other top-class train carriages, Dream Express is still adequately furnished with modern facilities and comfort interiors, ensuring to make the trip worthy and memorable. Wooden-paneled cabins with soft –sleepers, reading light and especially intimate décor combined promises to create a cozy atmosphere and to easily induce passengers into sound sleep. Light refreshment with water and snack as well as wet tissue is also provided to customers at no extra fee.

Drop off point: Lao Cai station

Arrival time: 06:05 am ( scheduled )

2. From Lao Cai to Hanoi

SP4: Lao Cai – Hanoi ( 21:40 pm – 05:30 am )

Ticket exchange location: Lao Cai Station 
Drop off location: Tran Quy Cap Station
Departure time: 21:40 pm
Arrival time: 05:30 am ( scheduled )

Pros & Cons

Pros

• Having a separate wash basin to wash hands
• The toilet cabin is quite large and clean compared to the one of other trains running on the same route.
• Offering slippers, snacks or biscuits, mineral water and large luggage storage for free
• Train tickets are reasonable

 

Cos

• The toilet is not available in each cabin but can be found at the end of each carriage

• Free transfer from our office in Hanoi to the train station (one way)
• Free transfer from Laocai to Sapa by shuttle bus or minivan
• Free of charge for children under 5 year old sharing parent‘s existing berths
• Ticket price does not include meals on the train but include snack and drinks
• The charge of ticket price in holiday season is 30%
• Toilets are not in cabin but the restroom will open when the train runs
