This trek provides a big challenge for the people who really want to conquer of Fansipan peak. The Haven gate trek trail to Mt. Fansipan is best suit for trekkers to explore the magnificent mountain ranges and wonderful terraced paddy fields. You will be fully supported by our guides, porters and cooks. Their local knowledge of the different landscapes and cultures will make your unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Fansipan trekking ( B,L,D)

Activities: Breakfast in a Sapa hotel, trek through the jungle rain forest and talk to H’Mong people

Pick you up from train station, then take a morning drive through the beautiful scenery by car / van to Sapa. When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to a Sapa hotel for a morning shower, breakfast, a short rest and some last preparation for the challenging hike.

Transfer by car/van to the starting point at Tram Ton Pass which is 15 km from Sapa town. Start your Fansipan trek through the jungle rain forest along wild mountain streams.

Break for a picnic lunch in the middle of an evergreen forest. More hiking to an elevation of about 2700 meters where we will make base camp. Local H’Mong porters will help us to set up camp, start a small fire and prepare dinner. Share stories of past journeys and cultural myths under the stars before retiring for the night .

 

Day 2: Fansipan trekking ( B,L,D)

Activities: Have breakfast in the jungle, trek through the bamboo forest and base a camp

Breakfast at the aurora, then start your Fansipan trek, today, it’s the longest day of hiking to the summit of Mt. Fansipan. The first section is steep and very challenging as we weave our way through the bamboo forests. At some points we are even forced to use ropes and harnesses for safety. We are rewarded with all our hardships forgotten and with the impression of standing on the top of Indochina.

After a picnic lunch and a rest at the summit, we begin our descent to base camp. Clean off and refresh at a mountain stream while our H’Mong porters set up camp and prepare dinner. Celebrate your victory and overnight again under the stars.

 

Day 3: Fansipan trekking – Lao Cai ( B,L)

Activities: Trek down the mountain, get some pictures on the way to Sin Chai village before return to Hanoi by train

Upon leaving the base camp, we begin walking downhill back to Sapa town. The steep trail is somewhat arduous but we have great opportunities to get some fantastic views from our vantage point. See the surrounding mountains, terraced valleys and quiet hill tribe villages far in the distance.

Picnic lunch on the way, then we will be picked up in Sin Chai village and transferred back to Sapa . You will take a shower and a rest in the hotel, free time in town for relaxing, shopping or befriending some of the local children. At 17h00 descend to Lao Cai, dinner on your own, overnight on board to Hanoi. End of your Sapa adventure tour.
